Project Description:

The purpose of the proposal is the establishment of a compensatory mitigation bank in the Lower Catawba Basin (HUC 03050102) to generate mitigation credits that may be used to provide
compensatory mitigation for unavoidable impacts to streams and wetlands associated with Department of the Army permit authorizations pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.

Bootstrap Mitigation Site - Includes approximately 7,639 linear feet (LF) of streams and will include 6,376 LF of restoration, 902 LF of enhancement I, and 361 LF of enhancement II.
In addition, proposed mitigation will include 2.241 Acres (Ac) of wetland re-establishment and 0.390 Ac of wetland rehabilitation. The Site proposes to generate approximately 6,767
warm stream credits and 2.501 riparian wetland credits.

Proctor Dairy Mitigation Site – Includes approximately 6,362 linear feet (LF) of streams and will include 5,058 LF of restoration and 1,304 LF of enhancement II. In addition, proposed
mitigation will include 5.670 Acres (Ac) of wetland re-establishment and 0.700 Ac of wetland enhancement. The Site proposes to generate approximately 5,580 warm stream credits and 5.625
riparian wetland credits.
