Depending on the nature of the comments, yes, the re-review can take up to 90 calendar days (The quick review queue
is for projects with minor/administrative comments that don’t require a full re-review of the design, but it hasn’t been
all that much quicker recently). With the new reviewer starting tomorrow, the review times should come down quite a
bit (about 2 years ago when we were fully staffed, a typical “standard” review would take about 30 calendar days and a
quick review would take about a week so that is what we are shooting for).

NOTE: Questions can now also be directed to Mike Laywer, the new supervisor of the stormwater group. At this time,
we are not processing new Standard Applications. Until further notice, we will acknowledge the receipt of any Standard
Applications and hold onto them until we resume processing them or until 90 days after having received the application
has elapsed, whichever comes first. Fast-Track Applications are still being processed and any Standard Application not
processed within 90 days of us receiving it will be deemed approved (in accordance with 15A NCAC 02H .1042(3)(c)).
The typical review time is approximatley 90 calendar days for a project at the end of the Standard Review Queue,
approximatley 15-30 calendar days for a project at the end of the Fast-Track Review Queue, and whenever my schedule
allows (but not to exceed the typical review time) for a project at the end of the Quick Review Queue.
These are currently the project review queues and should give you a rough estimate of when your project will be
reviewed (occasionally, a project that is lower in the review queue will get reviewed prior to a project that is higher in
the review queue, this is because different projects require different amounts of review time and I am trying to
maximize the number of projects that I review in my working hours). Dates indicate review/resubmission deadlines:
