Good morning Bethany, I am assisting Pittsburgh Glassworks with its stormwater program to meet the updated NCG070000 requirements. I noticed on the NCDEQ Active Stormwater Permits Map their facility has only one outfall listed. There are four outfalls at this facility. I want to make sure the other three are accounted for once we start submitting eDMRs. Is there something on our end we need to update to ensure these outfalls are listed in the eDMR system? Yes, I was checking the permit in our system after the request came in and saw that it was renewed on June 8t"when fees were paid. It likely did not make it into our batch of renewal COCs because the effective date was different than June 15Y. We are so sorry for the oversight! Here's what you need to do: We have a way to issue the COC if you go back to the Renewal COC request form and request it again. Just mark these two boxes below and include the explanation like I've written (disregard the notes about you verifying it's expired on the report-we know it is not but that owed fees were paid). If you have any questions, just let me know. Please check permit information! You can verify the most current COC facility information and renewal status by running this Permit Summary Report (check the Permit Status at the top of the report). II the permit is expired, a renewal COC will not be available. This may be because fees are owed. You can check for outstanding invoices at https:lldeq_nc.govlsw- epayments. « Do not checkthis box belovr unless you verified the COC is expired vrith the report above. Q the OOO is still expired, but owed fees have been paid. Q permit information is incorrect or old_ What is incorrect? The permit coverage wasl active a of 618f2023 when fees were paid, but no renewal COC is available in the repository_ This request will be reviewed so staff can verify payment and renew the permit coverage. When it has renewed. you will receive a new COC via e-mail. This request will be reviewed so staff can determine if revisions are necessary. Good afternoon Bethany and Joyce, I saw on the NCDEQ's Active Stormwater Permits Map that Permit Number NCG070202 (Pittsburg Glass Works)was renewed on June 8, 2023. 1 did not see in Laserfiche documentation of a Renewal Notification Letter. In addition, I submitted a NPDES Stormwater COC Renewal Request, and it said the COC was unavailable. After checking the Permit Summary Report, it says the permit is active and there are no fees due (see attached). Can you provide me with documentation of Renewal Notification Letter? Or is there additional information I am missing or need to provide? Some possible reasons for this include: Annual fees are owed, and so permit coverage for this facility was not renewed, or This COC was issued after the General Permit was renewed, or This COC is no longer active (has been rescinded). Please review the files available in this permit file in our repository to see the documents available: https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/WaterResources/Browse.aspx?dbid=0&startid=672337 5 If annual fees were owed before but are now paid, please go back to the COC Request Form (https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/SW-COC-Renewal) and (1) check the status of the permit COC by running the Permit Summary Report to verify expired status, and (2) check the box that says: "the COC is still expired, but owed fees have been paid" For additional questions, please contact bethany.georgoulias@deg.nc.gov or ioyice.sanford@deg.nc.gov Sincerely, The NC DEMLR Stormwater Program Email correspondence to and from this address may be subject to the North Carolina Public Records Law and may be disclosed to third parties by an authorized state official. 6
