On April 24, 2023, Tyler Benson with the Division of Water Resources conducted a Compliance
Evaluation Inspection of the Wallache Chicken PRocessing Plant (facility) in regards to Permit No.
NC0003344. The Operator, Chris Murray, was also on site and his knowledge and experience with
the system is appreciated.
In 2021, the Compliance Evaluation Inspection report indicated that the facility did not have files and
records due to an accidental fire that occurred. These records have been maintained and were
available for review following the date of the incident. The facility found to be in Compliance with
Permit No. NC0003344.
