PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that on November 30, 2023 Buncombe County Soil & Water (49 Mount Carmel Rd
Ste 101 , Asheville, NC 28806) applied to the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR) for a 401 Individual Water
Quality Certification, pursuant to Section 401 of the Federal Clean Water Act and Title 15A NCAC 02H .0500. The
activity for which this certification is sought regards Stormwater/Stormdrain. The DWR’s proposed date of final
action on the application is January 06, 2024.
Written comments on the application described above must be received by DWR no later than 5 p.m. on
January 06, 2024. Written comments may be submitted online by filling out the Public Notice Comment Form
here: <https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/401_Public_Notice_Comments>. Written comments may also be
mailed to: 401 Permitting, 1617 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC, 27699-1617.
