Describe the existing conditions on the site and the general land use in the vicinity of the project at the time of this application: * The project is located North of Old Plank Road with Sennebogen Trial running North/South from Old Plank Road leading to the main portion of the review area. The current land use of the review area is forested to the North and West with an office/warehouse located in the East. At the time of the site visit, one large office/warehouse (93,840 finished area) was observed within the review area. The surrounding land use predominantly consists of industrial/commercial properties abutting the East and West with residential properties and forested areas in the surrounding areas. a 4b. Explain the purpose of the proposed project: The project's purpose is for the construction of a new building for training techs and a demonstration/training area. The training area will consist of both gravel and grass lots, similar to the environment where they will operate. It will also be a center for apprenticeship to train young people for entry into the industry. There will also be office support personnel in the building. 41. Describe the overall project in detail, including indirect impacts and the type of equipment to be used: * The new building and training area will require one unavoidable impact to Waters of the United States. Impact S1 consists of -276 linear feet (0.0079 acres) of intermittent stream impact for construction of the gravel demonstration pad and stormwater measures. A bypass stormwater and sand filter pipe both discharge into CH 100. A dissipater pad has been added at the end of the piping.
