The Division received your request to rescind the subject permit. We do not object to this request.
Per the approval of this action by the Washington Regional Office, NPDES permit NCO090051 is hereby rescinded,
effective immediately. This message is to close the permit file for the Division, and for your records.
If in the future you wish to discharge wastewater to the State's surface waters, you must first apply for and receive a
new NPDES permit.
If you have any questions concerning this matter, simply reply to this message.
PLEASE NOTE: as part of the Division's conversion to paperless communication, this email is the only notification you will
be sent regarding the CoC rescission. No hard copy will be mailed

Once the facility has capped the sprinkler heads or they cap the water line feeding the sprinklers (to prevent irrigation in
the future) the permit can be rescinded.
I informed the facility on 10/30/2023 that this needs to be completed before the permit can be rescinded.

Thank you. We've not had a wastewater discharge from the system as we never started up the wet deck. The only
discharge we have had is stormwater. I have been sampling the stormwater and submitting the data via eDMR for both
NPDES NCO090051 and State Stormwater NCG210168. This outfall is dually permitted, at this time. My last sample was
on Oct 12th. We did not get enough rainfall to cause discharge to collect the second sample of the month. The October
NPDES e-DMR was submitted today. I will continue sampling this outfall as required by NPDES permit until I receive
confirmation that the permit is rescinded or you tell me otherwise. We will continue to follow the NC General
Stormwater Permit as we have even before this NPDES permit was issued. Please see the following attached letter
requesting recission.

We do request that the sprinklers be capped or the water line to the sprinklers be capped to prevent the sprinklers from
being operated in the future. In your request to rescind the permit it needs to state that the sprinkler system was never
operated.

WaRO understands that the residence time in the settling pond will change with the addition of 2 additional sprinklers
on the Wet Deck storage site. We have no issues with Georgia Pacific starting up the wet deck operations under the
current permit.

I received a copy of the inspection report from 8/22/2023. Please note that the RO for the facility is Carmine Perri (VP
Operations). Carmine Perri has delegated Mason Curry (the Plant Manager) and will certify/submit all DMR's. This was
just corrected in the a-DMR system last week.
Also, I noticed that the box is checked "no" for : Is the facility as described in the permit? Can you please elaborate on
what that refers to?

Greetings Mr. Bullock,
I received a copy of the inspection report from 8/22/2023. Please note that the RO for the facility is Carmine Perri (VP
Operations). Carmine Perri has delegated Mason Curry (the Plant Manager) and will certify/submit all DMR's. This was
just corrected in the a-DMR system last week.
Also, I noticed that the box is checked "no" for : Is the facility as described in the permit? Can you please elaborate on
what that refers to?
