I.Public Notice; Water Quality Certification for Town of Cary dredging Project at Symphony; 20231596 Ver 1; Wake
County
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that on November 21, 2023 Town of Cary (PO Box 8005 , Cary, NC 275128005)
applied to the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR) for a 401 Individual Water Quality Certification, pursuant
to Section 401 of the Federal Clean Water Act and Title 15A NCAC 02H .0500. The activity for which this
certification is sought regards Dredging. The DWR’s proposed date of final action on the application is
December 23, 2023.
Written comments on the application described above must be received by DWR no later than 5 p.m. on
December 23, 2023. Written comments may be submitted online by filling out the Public Notice Comment Form
here: <https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/401_Public_Notice_Comments>. Written comments may also be
mailed to: 401 Permitting, 1617 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC, 27699-1617.
The application is available online. Information for accessing the application/ project information online may
