If the relocated ditch was originally a JS then it will remain as a JS and should be protected as such. Please remind the contractors that the check dams are temporary in nature, and they will need to establish vegetation on the banks and remove the devices. J.S. relocate Site 4. Afternoon Hannah, I just left the site we talked about this morning and yesterday. The silt fence crew is about to install silt fences along the upper edge of the ditch shown in the picture attached. The permit plans don't show the relocated ditch as a JS. Our question is do we treat it as a JS since we've relocated it? The check dams were installed in the bottom of the ditch today. 11/21. The two culverts in the foreground are newly installed. They lead to a culvert that is bored under the highway that discharges into a wetland. Please let me know if there is any other form to fill out for the temporary BMPs in the channel, and please let me know how to interpret the plan set with a relocated JS.
