Thank you for your PCN, dated September 215Y, 2023, for the above referenced project. I have reviewed the information
and need clarification before proceeding with verifying the use of the requested Standard Permit (IP). Please submit the
requested information below (via e-mail is fine) within 30 days of receipt of this Notification or we may consider your
application withdrawn and close the file. Please email(matthew.k.martin@usace.army.mil) me if you have any
questions/concerns or would like to set up at time to discuss.
1) This project appears to better fit under a non -notifying NWP 14. The Corps has an obligation to process actions in
the least cumbersome way possible. Due to this the Corps will process this PCN as a Non -Notifying NWP 14. Please
review the general and regional conditions associated with NWP 14.

2) In order to verify your proposed project is in compliance with general condition 32(4)(iii) requests that sketches
should contain sufficient detail to provide an illustrative description of the proposed activity (e.g., a conceptual
plan), but do not need to be detailed engineering plans.
a. Please provide the Corps at least one sketch that show the intended design, include the location and size
of the proposed culvert and fill extents of the road. Please also show the aquatic resources that the road
is proposing to cross in relation to the design.
Please reach out if you have any questions on how to proceed.
Thank you,
