To whom it may concern:
We are in receipt of the August 2023 Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) and offer the
following; at the time of the Ammonia spikes, each of the Clarifiers return lines were
clogged. By the time we got it flowing, it was time to start sampling. The spike on the
Fecal from the same situation. There was no time to collect another sample for the
week. The flow is due to Inflow & Infiltration, the Town of Parkton has a project for a
new system installation currently in the Engineering Phase and it is set to bid for
construction July 1, 2024.
The Town would appreciate any thoughts of waiving any penalties. Thank you in
advance for helping.
