Regarding avoidance and minimization —
I spoke with Mr. Aden Stoltzfus, the project engineer. Mr. Stoltzfus indicated that shifting the road to the north to avoid
the impacts to the stream will lose 12 lots and will make the project economically unviable. Please let me know if this
addresses your concern. Thanks again for your assistance.

Attached is a plan set including profile and cross section for the culvert. Information for pipe slope, material,
alignment, burial and dissipater pad are on there.
We have submitted a buffer exhibit and permit to Graham but have not heard back from them on that. I will
send that over once they get back to us.

DWR has completed its initial review of the subject project application and requires additional information before
completing review. Please provide a response to the following within 30 days. Please note that the project will be on
hold until a response is received.
1. Thank you for including the drainage plans for the site. Please provide a detailed engineering plan, profile view,
and cross-section of the proposed culvert. These drawings must include details in relation to pipe alignment,
pipe slope, pipe burial, and dissipater pad. Please include information on the type, material, and size of the
culvert.
2. Please provide a Jordan Buffer Authorization Certificate from the local delegated municipality to document that
impacts to the protected riparian buffer are in accordance with the approved local ordinances.
