report dated April 20, 2023.
Compaction Requirements
1, See clay liner & earth fill specification,
2. The depth of subgrade shall be checked by Engineer
prior to installing clay liner.
3. All non -clay material suitable for use in dam shalt be
placed in downstream zone of embankment, Clay material
not used for liner shall be placed in upstream slope and
core of dam.
4. Any mcterial with rock greater than 6" diameter shall
be wasted away from embankment.
5. Clay moterial (CH) shall be used for clay liner
construction,
6, Clay liner will be constructed in two lifts,
Uncompacted layer is expected to be 8 or 9'.
7, The cloy liner shall be placed to meet the
recommendation specified in the Soil Mechanics Report,
Sol( moistrure and compaction test are required to show
that clay liner meets the requirements.
