The plant is currently operated by Richard Belangia of Tar Heel Water and Wastewater Company. Land and Lab Technology, Bridgeton, NC, performs necessary laboratory analyses. It is the recommendation of the Washington Regional Office that a NPDES Permit be reissued to Carolina Pines Utility Company. This issuance should coincide with the basin- wide permitting cycle for the Neuse River Basin.
