The Division of Water Resources (DWR) Winston-Salem Regional Office has reviewed the public
comments submitted in response to the Public Notice issued on September 15, 2023 for the above -
referenced project. All comments were evaluated for their applicability to the application for an
Individual 401 Water Quality Certification (WQC), pursuant to Section 401 of the Clean Water Act and
Title 15A NCAC 02H .0500. It has been determined that the comments are outside the scope of DWR's
review for the Individual 401 WQC application.
