I.Public Notice; Water Quality Certification for TPB NCDOT - Replace Bridge 35 on NC 770 (BR-0093); 20231549 Ver
1; Rockingham County
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that on November 15, 2023 NC DOT Division 7 () applied to the NC Division of
Water Resources (DWR) for a 401 Individual Water Quality Certification, pursuant to Section 401 of the Federal
Clean Water Act and Title 15A NCAC 02H .0500. The activity for which this certification is sought regards Replace
bridge with bridge . The DWR’s proposed date of final action on the application is December 17, 2023.
Written comments on the application described above must be received by DWR no later than 5 p.m. on
December 17, 2023. Written comments may be submitted online by filling out the Public Notice Comment Form
here: <https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/401_Public_Notice_Comments>. Written comments may also be
mailed to: 401 Permitting, 1617 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC, 27699-1617.
The application is available online. Information for accessing the application/ project information online may
