This letter transmits a Notice ol' V iolation and assessment of civil penalty in the amount of $3,226.36 ($3,120.00 civil
penally+ $106.36 enforcement costs) against Town of Siler City.
This assessment is based upon the following facts: a review has been conducted of the Discharge Monitoring Report
(DMR) submitted by Town of Siler City for the month ol'April 2023. This review has shown the subject facility lobe in
violation of the discharge limitations and/or monitoring requirements found in NPDES WW Permit No. NC002644I . The
violations, which occurred in April 2023, are summarized in Attachment A to this letter.
