Carolina; that he (she) is authorized to make this affidavit and
sworn statement; that the notice or other legal advertisement, a true
copy of which is attached here -to, was published the following
publication and dates:
Carteret County News -Times: 10/29/2023
and that said newspaper in which such notice, paper, document, or
legal advertisement was published was, at the time of each and ev-
ery such publication, a new paper meeting all of the requirements
and qualifications of Section 1-597 of the General Statutes of
North Carolina and was a qualified newspaper within the meaning
of section 1-597 of the General Statutes of North Carolina.

Water Resources (DWR) may

there be a significant degree of

West Carteret Water
Corporation [4102 NC Highway
24, Newport NC 28570] has
requested renewal of NPDES
permit NCO077143 for the West
Carteret WTP, located in
Carteret County. This
permitted facility discharges
treated wastewater to East
Prong Sanders Creek, a class
SA; HQW water in the White
Oak River Basin. Some of the
parameters in the permit are
water quality limited. This
discharge may affect future
allocations in this segment of
Sanders Creek.
