Hi Brad,
We need some additional information for the Core Creek Development project. For the road
crossing the Corps will need culvert widths and lengths, along with roadway fill in square
footage. From the last paragraph of the project narrative submitted 10-9-23: "The applicant
is proposing to improve a vehicular access connection to the remaining dwelling. This
asphalt access would be 20' x 267' and would traverse a man-made estuarine feature via
two 6'-wide culverts. This would connect the southern terminus of Waterway Drive to the
northern terminus of Dickinson Lane. " Also do you guys plan to dredge parts of Core
Creek? If so, we will need that quantified. An approximate 2,200 sq ft (122' x 18')
connection immediately adjacent to the mouth of the proposed basin in order to reach the
connecting water depths to support proper water quality flushing as well as the vessel
ingress. Approximately half of that area is an existing rip rap revetment that would be
removed as apart of this project.
I cc'd Curt to this email just in case they need any other information, but as of right now
that's the additional information that I know we need. I hope this information is helpful.
Will this additional info request impact the 10-11-2023 acceptance date of this application? -
