1. FACILITY SUMMARY
The Grover WWTP is a minor municipal facility (flow<1 MGD) that receives 100% domestic
waste. The design capacity for the treatment system is 0.1 MGD and the permitted flow is 0.1
MGD. The facility consists of the following components:
• Manual bar screen
• Aeration basin with diffused air
• Clarifier
• Chlorine contact tank
• Tablet dechlorination
• Aerated sludge holding tank
• Two (2) sand filter beds
RENEWAL SUMMARY
This renewal contains the following changes:
• Updated Section A. (3) to reflect current federal requirements for Electronic Reporting of
Discharge Monitoring Reports.
• Winter ammonia limits have been adjusted to be no less stringent than two times the summer
limit in accordance with 15A NCAC 0213.0404 (c).
• Section A (2) has been updated at the request of the Division's Mooresville Regional Office
