Dear Mr. Boss:
In response to the May 2023 Discharge Monitoring Report violations for
BOD, 5-Day, Daily Maximum Exceedance for the dates of 05/03/23, 05/17/23, 05124/23,
05/31/23 and Monthly Average Exceedance for the month of May 2023. The ORC was notified
by the laboratory that the WWTP had a daily exceedance for BOD, 5-day. The operator
immediately adjusted the WWTP, and it took several weeks for the WWTP to return to
compliance. For the month of June 2023, the BOD was below the monitoring level limit and the
WWTP was compliant for the month. Analysis results to date for the month of July are
compliant and the WWTP is operating at compliance.
