Daniel,

This letter is written on behalf of the Buncombe County Schools to provide information
as to remedial action taken to the above referenced facility in reference to NOV letter
dated September 5, 2023 attached.

Per your letter there we exceeded the daily maximum limit for fecal coliform on 7/5/23
with a 1,400#/100ml over the 400 mg/L daily limit.

The likely cause was low flow in the system that may have caused bacteria to regrow in
the contact chamber. All following samples were good for the month of July.
