On behalf of Duke Energy Progress, LLC (Duke Energy), WSP USA Environment & Infrastructure Inc. (WSP) is respectfully
requesting an extension of the US Army Corps of Engineers Request for Additional Information correspondence, dated
November 7, 2023, deadline to December 15, 2023. This will provide Duke Energy additional time to review alternative
engineering designs that are being developed by WSP for the Cliffside U51AB Dam Decommissioning project.
Please accept this email as Duke Energy's formal request for a project extension. If you need any additional information
