According to our water treatment plant permitting strategy, Total Nitrogen (TN) and Total Phosphorous (TP) monitoring is quarterly. Accordingly, we hereby forward the modified permit pages to amend your permit changing TN and TP monitoring to quarterly. Please insert these change pages into your existing permit and discard the old pages. We regret any inconvenience this causes your organization. Please note that this permit is not transferable except after notice to the Division. The Division may require modification or revocation and reissuance of the permit. This permit does not affect the legal requirements to obtain other permits which may be required by the Division of Water Resources or any other Federal, State, or Local governmental permits that may be required. No later than 270 days from the effective date of this permit, begin submitting discharge monitoring reports electronically using NC DWR's eDMR application system. See Special Condition A. (3.). 2. E = Effluent; I = Influent; U = upstream at least 50 feet from the outfall; D = downstream at least 100 feet from the outfall. 3. For instantaneous flow monitoring, the duration of the discharge must be reported in addition to the total flow. Page 3 of 8 NPDES Permit NCO086291 4. The Division shall consider TRC effluent values reported below 50 µg/L to be compliant with the permit. However, the Permittee shall continue to record and submit all values reported by a North Carolina -certified test method (including field certified), even if these values fall below 50µg/L. 5. Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) testing - testing of Ceriodaphnia dubia shall be performed as 7-day pass/fail test at 90% effluent concentration, during January, April, July and October [See A. (2.)]. Samples shall be taken at the outfall but prior to mixing with the receiving waters. There shall be no discharge of floating solids or foam in other than trace amounts. Page 4 of 8
