Good afternoon Arnie, my responses are below. Thanks, and let me know if you need anything else.
1. The pond will be drained using a siphon / mechanical pump system at a rate not to exceed 1 foot per day. The water
will be run through a dewatering silt bag which will be placed outside the limits of disturbance and allowed to drain
through existing vegetation parallel to the flow of Tributary 1. Once completely drained, the pond will be backfilled and
graded. As stated in the PCN, avoidance of the pond is not possible due to public safety concerns.
2. The size of wetland A1000 is 0.017 acres as determined by field survey; 0.023 acres was an approximation based on
handheld GPS information during the delineation approval process. The entirety of wetland A1000 is proposed to be
impacted as it falls entirely within the limits of disturbance necessary for the road crossing.

Good morning,
In reviewing the application for DWR# 20231202 Davis Meadows, the Division has the following questions:
1. Details regarding the removal of the pond and the grading for the road need to be shown with an explanation of
how you plan to drain and fill this pond to ensure protection of downstream waters. Explanation on how you
have minimized these impacts to this pond.
2. Explanation how the removal of this pond will not result in secondary or cumulative impacts to the down
gradient wetland that cause or contribute to, or will cause or contribute to, a violation of water quality
standards. The wetland A1000 is .023 ac. with an impact of 0.017 ac. Please provide a map with the entire
Wetland A1000 with the fill impact overlay so I can properly see your disturbance area in comparison to the
wetland.
Please provide the information requested below within 30 days of this email. The Division will consider the application
to be "on hold" until receipt of a complete response.
Best,
Amie Hoy
