Klimek, P. E. Director Division of Water Quality October 19, 2005 Mr. Mark Bumgamer Catawba County Schools PO Box 1000 Newton, North Carolina 28658 Subject: NPDES Permit Correction Permit Number NCO086304 Mill Creek Middle School W WTP Catawba County Dear Mr. Bumgamer: The Division issued NPDES permit NCO086304 to the Catawba County Schools on March 23, 2005. The permit included changes to update the monitoring frequencies to those of a Class H facility. However, in a telephone conversation between Ms. Jane Williams and Ms. Karen Rust and upon further review, it has come to our attention the facility is a Class I facility and not a Class H facility. This permit correction revises the monitoring frequencies to reflect those of a Class I facility. Enclosed please find the revised permit page. This page should be inserted into your permit and the old one discarded. This permit modification is issued pursuant to the requirements of North Carolina General Statute 143- 215.1 and the Memorandum of Agreement between North Carolina and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency dated May 9, 1994 (or as subsequently amended). Please take notice that this permit is not transferable. This permit does not affect the legal requirement to obtain other permits which may be required by the Division of Water Quality or permits required by the Division of Land Resources, Coastal Area Management Act or any other Federal or Local government permit that may be required. If you have any questions concerning this permit, please contact Karen Rust at telephone number (919) 733- 5083, extension 361. Sincerely, AtI-I .*r -. Alan W.
