Inspection Summary:
Site inspection was conducted on November 1, 2023 by Kevin Mitchell with the Asheville Regional Office. I was
unable to locate the DOT inspector on the job,but I spoke with Reid Whitehead and Kevin Barnett.
-Turbidity was observed in Jonathan Creek. This appears to be originating from a seep underneath the existing bridge
that flows through the disturbed area where the crane pad is being graded. Measures are in place,but additional
measures are needed. Please consult with Reid Whitehead to minimize turbidity to Jonathan Creek.
Ensure project is meeting NPDES cover requirements.
