RE: EMC SOC WQ S20-001 November 2023 Quarterly Progress Report
Mr. Hennessy,
Union County Water receieved the fully excuted SOC for the Grassy Branch WRF on June 21,2022. As a
requirement of this SOC the County is to submit quarterly progress reports.This letter is intended to serve
as the quarterly progress report.Below is a summary of items that took place during the November 2023
report period.
For Collections system permit WQCS00054
• Ongoing inflow and infiltration(I&I)rehabilitation in the Grassy Branch basin.
o Bionomics Services CIPP lined 782 linear ft and 5 MH were injected with chemical
grout.
For NPDES Permit NC0085812
• Submit Contract documents for regulatory approval for Grassy Branch WWTP upgrade project.
o Final design for the expansion commenced in July 2023 with the 60%design to be
completed in October 2023.
