The pump was repaired on 10/01/2023 and 3M took a subsequent sample on 10/13/2023.This sample was taken during the period of October 1— December 31 (Q4),though 3M believes the 10/13/2023 sample to be closely representative of the Q3 outflows.A wastewater DMR for the Q4 period will be submitted following receipt of lab results. Additionally,to prevent reoccurrence,3M EHS will work with its 3rd party quarry partner to monitor the status of the mind dewatering pump.3M has also set reminder in its compliance management system to sample wastewater discharges no later than mid-month of the final month of each quarter Of the sample was not already collected in combination with stormwater samples during a qualifying rain event).This sampling strategy will allow for sufficient time to address potential pump Issues and sample before quarter end.
