Mr. Boss,
This letter is in response to your 10-18-23 letter to Champion Hills POA attached.
Per your letter the ammonia nitrogen exceeded the monthly average limit of 2.4 mg/L
with an 4.05 mg/L.
The likely cause was a severe storm that produced 3.0 inches of rainfall on 7-19-23
before our 7-20-23 sampling event that resulted in 7.0 mg/L ammonia nitrogen. We
received the sample results on the last day of the month that did not allow us to collect
additional samples to help lower the monthly average. The plant flowed 0.111 MGD on
7-20-23.
The ammonia nitrogen results have been compliant since this event.
