Re: Application for Permit Renewal
Aqua North Carolina, Inc.
Permit No. WQ0029821
Bogue Watch WWTF
Carteret County
Good Afternoon:
Enclosed is the renewal application for Bogue Watch WWTF and includes the requested attachments. A
review of the previous permit version, issued on June 5, 2017, included several compliance schedules.
Aqua North Carolina's response regarding these compliance schedules is as follows:
I.I. The facility is not currently operating with all influent flows being conveyed to Cannonsgate
(WQ0028666). As such, a return -to -operation inspection has not been requested as of this letter.
1.2. The 5-day upset pond and high -rate infiltration basins are not currently in use. To protect the
integrity of the liner on these structures, gauges have not been installed. Gauges will be installed
prior to resuming operations at this facility.
The treatment facility is not operational, and Aqua North Carolina requests that sampling requirements
not be added to the permit at this time. Should you need any additional information or assistance,
please feel free to contact me via phone (919-653-6977) or by email at
LARauDPlummer(@aauaamerica.com.
Sincerely,
