structures (buildings, retaining walls, docks, impervious surfaces, etc.), rip rap, excavation or dredging below

5. Describe the existing land use or condition of the site at the time of this application.. *
Existing brick and motor seawall has begun to shift and crumble causing erosion behind the wall and unsafe shoreline. The
existing structure is to be removed and rip rap rock is to be installed per guidelines and structure supplied in the diagram above.
Approximately 255 linear ft with rip rap above and below the normal pool level.

7. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or
why it is necessary):
Existing brick seawall structure is to be removed and replaced with rip rap rock seawall structure. The placing of the new seawall
will conform to all guidelines and requirements. 2.5 ft below the normal pool level and 2.5 feet above the normal pool level for a
distance of 255 linear ft.

There are no current vegetation above the normal pool level to be disturbed. Upon completion new vegetation in the form of trees
and bushes can be planted to appease any needs to NC water resources.

application fee is as follows (pursuant to G.S. 143-215.3D):

0 $767.00 for impacts to lake (below normal water level) of greater or equal to 1 acre
