This letter is in response to your 9-1-23 letter to Mountaintop Community Association
attached.

May 2023
Exceedances in daily maximum turbidity of 16.4 and 14.2 NTU of 10 NTU limit.
Exceedances in daily/monthly BOD, TSS, and Ammonia Nitrogen. Operator noted high
flows and toxic shock over Memorial Day weekend lowered pH with reduced settling
time.

June 2023
Exceedances in daily maximum turbidity of 10.2 NTU over 10 NTU limit. Exceedances
in daily/monthly BOD and Ammonia Nitrogen. Operator noted high flows and crack in
return sludge line caused poor settling. The RAS line has been repaired.

The current 40,000 gpd WWTP phase is getting daily flows during the summer months
beyond the 40,000 gpd capacity. The owners are working with the developer to initiate
the next 40,000 gpd phase expansion which will greatly enhance the treatment in the
higher flow months. We will make every effort to fully comply with additional testing
and daily adjustments as needed.
