Kim and Lori -per below, there is no longer any groundwater 'compliance' sampling for Mayo due to
the updated NPDES permit being signed by DEQ. We need to continue with sampling per the IMP
quarterly for Mayo but there is no longer a requirement for submittal of sampling results on a
GW59CCR. Thanks and please upload to filenet.

The Mayo Steam Electric Plant NPDES permit was signed July 13, 2018. Per our agreement, we have
suspended the groundwater monitoring under the permit. Therefore, you are no longer required to
submit compliance well data on the GW-59CCR forms for NPDES Permit NC0038377. However,
some or all of the compliance wells shall continue to be sampled per the current Interim Monitoring
Plan for the facility.
