FACT SHEET FOR EXPEDITED PERMIT RENEWALS
This form must be completed by Permit Writers for all expedited permits which do not require full

parks, etc.) that can be administratively renewed with minor changes but can include facilities with
more complex issues (Special Conditions, 303(d) listed water, toxicity testing, instream monitoring,
compliance concerns).

RE: DRAFT permit renewal for NC0036315
Charles,
Looking at the cover sheet the following components need to be updated since they have changed since the last permit:
1. There are 2 Secondary Clarifiers
2. The facility converted disinfection to Liquid Chlorine
Thanks,

Charles,
I have not visited the facility in a while. The last inspection was by Paul Mays in 2020 and he doesn't work in WaRO now.
Their main problem is the Town doesn't have enough money to keep the system up like they need to.
Robert might have some more information.
Thanks,
Robbie

I'm working on the renewal for the Roper WWTP. Are their compliance issues primarily financial — not enough $$$ to
maintain & run the system, or is something else going on?
Just need some a compliance summary for the fact sheet. Let me know, and thanks for your help.
