Thank you for your help in getting this permitted.
Latest survey attached from owner.
Answers as follows:
1) The block wall will replace the old existing wood poles that outline the beach. The block wall will actually be a
segmental dry stack that will serve the same purpose as the poles but also be used as a seat wall as well.
2) Latest survey attached. The whole 50' buffer is shown.

4) Our access will be from existing driveway thru existing grass area. No trees to be disturbed. Disturbed turf wil
be replanted and matted.

Good morning,
In reviewing the application for Shoreline Stabilization, the Division has the following questions:
1. an explanation to why a block wall is being requested,
2. a survey that includes the full pond level, Zone 1 and Zone 2 of the buffer per 15A NCAC 02b .0614
3. updated impact lengths that coincide with the survey
4. explanation of how you have minimized your impacts to the buffer
It appears the parcel does not go down to the lake and that part of that land is owned by Duke. DWR only permits what
is within the buffer area which is just the left and right side and open water under a 401.
Please provide the information requested below within 30 days of this email. The Division will consider the application
to be "on hold" until receipt of a complete response.
