7. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or
why it is necessary):
1. Intent is to install a new boulder seawall at area of gangway.
Wall will be approx. 10-12' high and run approx. 301f centered on gangway, approx. 300-360sgft. Wall will have integrated geogrid
textile for stability and drainage rock.
Current gangway support is a large concrete slab with wing walls, appears to be sloped but was installed that way. We will adjust
as needed in the field the support below this structure above the seawall on completion, supplementing with additional concrete if
needed.
Due to height of wall Engineering is required in addition to TVA permit and other associated authorities.
