Mr. Pitner, Hello, my name is Wade Wilkerson and I have a home on Lake Tillery. We have a concrete bulkhead at our property on Lake Tillery that does not need any work done on it. In front of it is an existing wooden seawall/bulkhead with a boardwalk that is in need of repair. The existing concrete bulkhead will not be altered. After contacting Duke Energy Lake Services last month about this they said I needed approval from the state and then they would be able to review it. I submitted my application through the NC Dept of Water Resources on 9/19/23 and paid the $240 fee on 9/20/23. The website shows it in review with ID number 20231299. Address is: 50421 Mallard Drive, Albemarle, NC 28001 I am sorry to bother you but I was hoping to check on the status and the expected completion of the review? I'm sure you must be busy and hate to push, but they have started the 5 year lake draw down for repairs today with the draw down taking about a week and staying about 6-10 feet below full pond for the next 3 weeks so I am in a time crunch to get all approvals before starting work. Is there any way to expedite it? I appreciate anything you can do to help. Thank you, Wade Wilkerson wadewilkCa)-gmail.com 336-577-3249
