7. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or
why it is necessary):
Remove old existing wood wall at the top of shoreline and replace with new block wall. Old wall has erosion and run off occurring
from behind and from underneath the bottom of the wall due to the steepness of the bank. Only replacing what already exists and
new wall will be within the same footprint. Grid matting will be used behind the wall to help prevent and control erosion. At the
base of the wall on the shoreline, install matting and install a fresh layer of rip rap 4' wide along length of wall. Install TN Crab
Orchard steps to replace old wood steps on immediate shoreline for lake access.
