I am sending this correspondence in reference to the Town of Jackson experiencing inflow exceeding permitted limits into it's sanitary sewer system on the following dates: (with amounts) September 23"I-25°i. (averaged out each day of the event at 443,000 gallons.) This was in response to 5.2" of rainfall during the weekend period as a result of Tropical Storm Ophelia. The freeboard as of this date is5' 2" at the Town's wastewater treatment plant storage lagoon. No major issues occurred during the storm. The Town has continued it's effons to deal with I R:. I issaes by working to obtain grant monies alone with partnering with Northampton County involving projects to improve our Systems. The rown's wastewater permit numbers are: WQCS00301 and WQ0000948.
