Water Quality General Certification 4502, which you are requesting coverage under, requires that rip rap be placed waterward of retaining walls. This material provides for aquatic habitat and helps to further dissipate wake energy. Please revise the cross-section to include this material. Andrew W Moore, P.G. Good afternoon Mr. Moore, Please see attached requested information and responses to the incomplete / missing information. 1. See attached document with plan and side view of proposed retaining wall. Also, we're utilizing a precast modular concrete block for the wall. We've attached a photo of job in process of these exact blocks and you can see more at their website redi-rock.com. Additionally, there will be base footing of #57 stone 6in deep x 36in wide and leveled for the modular blocks. 2. Please see attached couple photos of the shoreline that we're looking to build along. 3. Lastly, yes - the work is to begin 11/15 when the lake is drawn down - pending approval on our project request. Let me know if you have any further questions and advise as soon as possible, if approved, so we can start procuring materials and be ready when the lake comes down.
