Everything looks good except for a few small issues: Please correct the following: 1. Please include the high-density/low-density divide in the main set of plans. NOTE: It is noted that this divide is shown on a plan sheet in the calculation booklet, however we would need a second hard copy of this plan sheet to add to the plan sets. Please either provide a second hard copy of this plan sheet (Post Drainage Area Bulletin) or revise the plan sets to include this drainage divide and provide the revised sheets. 2. Please clarify if Phase 2, and the BUA associated with Phase 2, is included in this project/application. NOTE: The project name on the Application & Plans only indicates Phase 1. Please revise as needed. 3. There appears to be excessive piping located in the low-density portion of the project area (between lots 33/34 & 35/37). Per 15A NCAC 02H .1003(2)(c), a minimal amount of non- vegetated conveyances are only allowed when unavoidable (a portion of this piping could be replaced by vegetated conveyance). Please revise as needed. NOTE: You are allowed to bypass or partially bypass off-site drainage for a low-density project through pipes, however, you may not collect on-site drainage into the bypass pipes (on-site drainage may only be conveyed via pipe when unavoidable). 4. Please include the vegetated setback around Hollaman Lake as it is an on-site surface water and requires a setback per 15A NCAC 02H .1003(4). NOTE: Please ensure that the trail that is within the vegetated setback near Holloman Lake is non-BUA or is in accordance with 15A NCAC 02H .1003(4) (if it is not, pleas relocate it outside of the vegetated setback. Please revise as needed. Please provide the following: 5. 2x hard copies & 1x electronic copy of any items needed to address the above comments. Hard copies should be mailed to me at the following address: For FedEx/UPS: Jim Farkas 512 N. Salisbury Street, Office 640M Raleigh, NC 27604 For USPS: Jim Farkas 1612 Mail Service Center Raleigh, NC 27699-1612 Hand Delivery: Please reach out to me prior to hand delivering a submission to make sure that I (or someone else in my group) will be able to receive the submission. Do not leave the package in the foyer with the security guard. NOTE: Hard copies should not be sent to a Regional Office. Doing so will delay the review process and the submission package may be lost while being sent from the Regional Office to me in the Central Office. Electronic copies should be uploaded at the following location: https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Supplemental-Upload 3 Since these are really minor things, once I get the hard copies, anything else that may have changed from addressing these issues, and the documents are uploaded to Laserfiche (Provided everything is still in order), we can issue the permit without doing another formal review. Let me know if you have any questions. Reviews under the Fast-Track permitting process can take up to 30 calendar days to complete. You can see where this project stands in the review queue by emailing me (I have an autoreply set up that has the review queue on it). Please upload all documents that you mailed into our office through the link provided below. Be sure to choose the Central Office as the Primary Contact office. https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Supplemental-Upload IMPORTANT NOTE: Please ensure that each file is uploaded under its appropriate file type. Additional file types can be entered into the electronic form by clicking on the “Add Another Post-Construction File Upload” link directly below the “State Stormwater Information Uploads” section of the form. YOU MUST CLICK ON THE “ADD ANOTHER POST-CONSTRUCTION FILE UPLOAD” TO ADD ADDITIONAL FILE TYPES TO THE SUBMISSION. Merely changing the file type dropdown as you upload the various files (without adding additional file uploads) will upload all of the files as the last file type selected, the submission will get flagged during review, and you will need to resubmit the files. Please do not upload entire plan sets through this form, but rather upload the relevant individual sheets under the appropriate file type. Selecting the correct file type ensures that the files are properly named in the electronic repository and it helps expedite the review process. NOTE: We do not require and we discourage the upload/submission of extraneous plan sheets (such as lighting plans, utility plans, striping plans, sight distance plans, etc…) as these files are not needed for review. Please type in permit #: SWA000195 If you have any questions, please contact Jim Farkas Jim.Farkas@ncdenr.gov 919-707-3646 (email is preferred).
