Subject: FW: Villas at Carpenter Woods 2023-0451
Zach,
Alex at Spangler has informed me that this project has been postponed. I am deactivating it in my
database; it can be activated later, but deactivating it takes it out of our potential forecast numbers for
mitigation needs. He indicated that if they need mitigation, they will send in another request. Just
keeping you in the loop, though I suppose you should get official word from them if there is anything
to be done for the buffer approval.

Subject: Villas at Carpenter Woods DMS invoice
Alex,
Attached is an invoice for Villas at Carpenter Woods. Please review it carefully. This invoice represents the payment
necessary to provide the amount of mitigation assigned to the Division of Mitigation Services in the buffer approval in
the service area specified on the invoice. This invoice will expire on August 30, 2023. Once payment is received, I will
issue a receipt and provide a signed Mitigation Responsibility Transfer Form to serve as written confirmation that the
DMS will accept responsibility for the mitigation it has agreed to provide. All payments made to DMS are subject to our
refund policy.
If the permittee needs an extension to this invoice, please email me to request one. Invoices and extensions reflect the
rate schedule in place on the day they are issued. The last day to request an invoice good for 60 days at the current rate
is June 30, 2023.
DMS accepts eCheck, debit and credit card payments at http://deg.nc.gov/eaamments. Payment may also be mailed to
the Raleigh office using the appropriate address on the invoice. Please notify me if payment is made online so that I can
provide a project -specific receipt.
Thank you- I appreciate the opportunity to assist with your client's mitigation needs. For more information on DMS
programs please visit the DMS Website.
Sincerely,
Kelly
