This is the Flatiron section. This is the stream that has the long diversion that you saw last week. The upgradient dike has not been set but Flatiron did install more silt fence to establish a perimeter control. Flatiron stated that the subcontractor that will be doing the box culvert will be the ones to set the upgradient dike. We can have a discussion with them if you feel that this dike should be set as soon as possible. Down gradient dike is set and stable. Hannah, also if you have any questions about this please call. I-5987A Big Marsh north bank corrections, Webber stated they will be working on that this week. I spoke with the super intendent this morning, and I anticipate a photo log of the corrections by Friday of this week. Chris H. As you thought, the end of that rock swell was established in the mechanical clearing zone (attached a screen shot of the permit plans). I met with Webber superintendent Dave McCraken yesterday who had survey out to verify toe of slope (photo attached). Webber will restore the area where the rip rap was placed and out to the current silt fence where you observed the deposit of sand. They will be removing any imported material and replace with hydric soil that is stockpiled at the construction entrance to that site. Wetland seed mix will be hand tossed. I will follow up with a photo log after they complete the restoration. They also began removing the pile of sand from the end of the fill on the southern banks of the Big Marsh yesterday. Please let me know if you require any further information. Chris H.
