FACILITY SUMMARY
The Yadkin County Board of Education operates a 100% domestic wastewater treatment plant for an
estimated 250 residents, that sends wastewater to the East Bend Elementary School WWTP nearby. The

COMPLIANCE HISTORY
East Bend Elementary School WWTP has not had an enforcement since 2007. The facility has been issued
one NOD for a pH limit violation in 2019, and two NOVs for fecal coliform limit violations in 2022 and
2023, since the permit was originally issued in May 2019. Most recent inspection (May 2023) showed the
facility to be in compliance.
