Please accept this letter as the Town of Troy's response to your letter received in
this office on September 1, 2023, in regards to the NOV
detailed in NOV-2023-PC-0459.
(1) The first item of the Notice of Violation pertained to not sampling Oil and Grease
as listed in the approved STMP.
-The towns STMP was amended and submitted to Octavio Henriquez. We are
waiting on approval of the amended STMP. Oil and Grease sampling will be
started in the next quarterly round of samples. (October 2023)
(2) The second item pertained to the SIU's slug/spill control plans needing to be
updated and signed annually.
-1 am currently in possession of Republic Services updated slug/spill control plan.
I am waiting on Saputo Cheese USA to update their plan.
(3) The last item pertained to files maintained not containing the most recent
enforcement and proof of penalty collection.
-Going forward, any penalties collected will be sent as an invoice to the SIU with a
due date. This way, penalties will be more clear to the SIU's and will be easier to track.
