Hello Ryan,

Attached is the Year 3 monitoring credit release letter for the: SAW-2017-01462 / EBX, LLC / RES Yadkin 01 UMBI / Gideon Year 3 Monitoring Report. IRT comments on the MY3 Report are
incorporated in this email.

**The Corps agrees to the M&M bond reduction for Bond No. SUR0069945 in conjunction with the Year 3 credit release, in the amount of $64,598, per the bond reduction schedule.

Maria Polizzi (NCDWR) comments:

1. Overall the site is progressing well and DWR is in support of the proposed credit release.

2. Groundwater well #1 is a bit low, so it will be good to keep an eye on this in subsequent years.

3. In the first comment by Erin Davis from MY2, she mentions concern with haybale installation for a headcut repair in 2022 and a desire to see photographs of this location.
In Appendix B I see photos of a bank stabilization repair and no haybales are shown. Is this the same repair? If haybales were utilized, have they been effective?

Casey Haywood (USACE) comments:

1. Was supplemental planting needed near the repair area(s) on MC2-A as a result of the equipment use on the floodplain? In future reports, it would be helpful if the
repair area(s) were shown on the monitoring map.

2. Please be sure to include the flow monitoring data for the remainder of this year in next year’s report (beginning at 7-Aug-23). While there are no concerns with the
flow on JN6-C, the data needs to capture the prescribed monitoring period per the 2016 Guidance to avoid data gaps. The MY2 flow data goes from 18-Nov-21 to 18-SEP-22, and the MY3 data
goes from 01-Nov-22 to 7-Aug-23, so data is missing from 18-Sep-22 to 01-Nov-22.
