On September 6, 2023,the Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources received your request to
rescind your coverage under Certificate of Coverage Number NCG080777.
Based on our review of your request and the recommendation of our Mooresville Regional Office,your
request for rescission has been denied due to multiple exposures issues found.Staff found various
industrial transit and transportation equipment still on site.Additionally,all fluids related to transit and
transportation activities must be removed from the site.Your Certificate of Coverage Number NCG080777
will remain in effect,and you must continue to comply with your NPDES stormwater permit. Once the
above-mentioned issues have been fixed,please re-apply for permit rescission.
