Aqua North Carolina, Inc. (Aqua) offers the following response to the above -referenced Notice of Violation
and Intent to Assess Civil Penalty, which was issued for Coliform, Fecal MF, MFC Broth, of daily
maximum exceeded, found in May 2023 Non -Discharge Monitoring Report.
Aqua's Response:
A root cause could not be found during the investigation into this the daily fecal violation. The UV
trough and the bulbs were cleaned on May 4', 2023, prior to this sampling event. All subsequent
samples have been compliant.
