The purpose of the evaluation was to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Permit WQ0028666. Joel Mingus and Raymond Braxton were present during the inspection. This 200,000 GPD Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) facility treated an averaged of 38,000 GPD this July. The Cannonsgate Subdivsion still has many vacant lots. The facility continues to receive wastewater from the Bogue Watch Subdivsion through the conveyance line from the Bogue Watch WWTP (WQ0029821) EQ basin. Flow is metered and reported on the monitoring report under PPI 002. A record review for this permit cycle shows no effluent violations. Monitoring Well #6 continues to have consistent Ammonia limit exceedances. However, the plant effluent Ammonia levels are typically below the detection limit or barely measurable. The current permit expires on August 31, 2024. A renewal application needs to be submitted no later than March 4, 2024. The facility is compliant with Non -Discharge Permit WQ0028666. Please review the comment sections of the inspection report for more details.
